Hope Solo has already spilled the beans on the athletes’ bedroom antics, but here is the irrefutable proof that the Olympic Games are indeed a steamy affair. The Olympic Committee isn’t taking any chances and will deliver 150,000 condoms to the Olympic Village. They learned their lesson from the Sydney 2000 Summer Games where, after providing only 70,000 rubbers, they ran out and had to make an emergency delivery of an extra 20,000.
In 2012 there’ll be no chance of getting caught short: 150,000 condoms should be enough to prevent an Olympic baby boom. At least, that’s what we hope! We’ll check back in 9 months!
