The gala had auctions which were bid-only, and had several entertainment packages in place.
It is held every year and is always a star-studded event, with this year's being no different.
Gold
packages for the gala were sold out quickly, despite costing £2,250
(plus VAT), and included a red carpet arrival, drinks reception, three
course meal and commemorative programme.
There
were still a deal on sale as the event took place - the platinum package
- which gave you champagne VIP drinks reception in the club museum,
priority seating next to the players, a complimentary bottle of wine on
top of the aforementioned privileges.

Some of
the auctions included signed shirts from Pele and Lionel Messi, as well
as a training session with coach and former player Phil Neville.
The gala dinner raised more than £200,000 for UNICEF.
Patrice
Evra told the club's website: 'The new players at the club and the young
lads have to understand this isn't just a normal dinner.
'It's
important. It's important for the children and for many people. I think
UNICEF is just the best partnership for helping people around the
world.'

The
majority of the first-team squad have just got back into training at the
club after their respective friendlies and World Cup play-offs.
United's fortunes have been improving in recent weeks, after slumping to their worst start in Premier League history.
David
Moyes, who was also in attendance, will be preparing his side to visit
Wales to play Cardiff on Sunday over the next few days.
