Job Title: RELATIONSHIP MANAGER AGRIBUSINESS
Business Area: HEAD OFFICE
Reports To: SENIOR MANAGER AGRIBUSINESS
Line Manager: MANAGER AGRIBUSINESS

JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for marketing agri-business products, Process and assessment of agri – credit applications, review credit appraisals from Loan Officers and analysing performance of all agri-loan products in his/her area of operation against the set budget and ensure quality standards of the agri-loans are complied with. And advice Manager/Senior Manager Agri-Business on implications and corrective measures for any anomaly.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES FOR RELATIONSHIP MANAGER AGRIBUSINESS
  1.  Appraise agri –loan products in his/her area of operation/zone and forward to Manager Agribusiness with recommendations
  2. Review credit appraisals from Agri Loan Officers/Loan Officers before forwarding to Head Office Agribusiness Department
  3. Monitor and Supervise all agri-loans issued and disbursed in his/her area of operation/zone to ensure good and quality portfolio
  4. Training and coaching Agri-Loan Officers/Loan Officers on agri-loan product appraisals
  5. Ensure weekly/monthly/monthly agri-loan portfolio report indicating performance and status are prepared and submitted on time
  6. Assist branches and zones to prepare budget for all agri-loan products in his/her area of operation/zones
  7. Prepare and review strategies for marketing of agri-loan products both existing and o be developed from time to time.
  8. Prepare action plan for implementation and achievement of budget objectives for his/her area of operation/zone
  9. Review and advise the Bank on its pricing policy for agri-loan products from time to time based on feedback from the field
  10. Monitor and ensure that all agri-loan products delivery process is working properly and advise Manager/Senior Manager Agri-Business for any improvement
  11. Perform other duties as may be directed or assigned by his/her superior.
Knowledge and Skills required
Competencies:
1. Good credit assessment and project appraisal skills
2. Conversant with standard computer applications (Excel, Word and Access).
3. Good communication with high proficiency in the use of (English and Kiswahili).
4. Good knowledge of banking operations at branch level and core banking system.
5. Good customer relationship and sound understanding of bank’s loan products, policies and procedures.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
1. Holder of a first degree or it equivalent in business administration, banking and finance or its equivalent.
2. Master Degree will be an added advantage
3. An experience of three years in credit assessment and project appraisal and other bank operations
4. Good business management, leadership, coaching and team building skills.
