Qualification
Holder of bachelor degree or Advanced Diploma and Certified Supplies Professional (CSP) or any other qualification from recognized institution. Must be registered with NBMM as an authorized supplies Officer with at least three (3) years of working experience after CSP

Some of duties are:

Qualifications

The Arusha International Conference Centre (AICC) was established under the Public Corporations Act No. 17 of 1969 by a Presidential Order through Government Notice number 115, published on 25th August, 1978. The Centre is wholly owned by the Government of United Republic of Tanzania and operates under the purview of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation.
The AICC was established to manage and control the Headquarters' complex of the defunct East African Community and all other premises and lands in Arusha which belonged to the defunct East African Community and to provide facilities and services on 'the complex for purposes of conferences, meetings, seminars etc
The Centre's mission is to promote and provide quality business tourism services to national and International clientele for enhanced national social and economic development with the vision of being a model and enabler of business tourism.

PRINCIPAL MARKETING AND RESEARCH OFFICER (ONE POST)
Answerable to Director, Conferences and Marketing
Qualifications and Experience
Holder of a Masters Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing and Research, Statistics or equivalent from a recognized University/Institution
At least nine (7) years working experience in the related field
Must be Computer literate
Duties & Responsibilities
Assists the Director of Conferences and Marketing in formulating marketing strategies in line with the AICC business strategy
Overall in-charge of Marketing and Research activities of the Department;
Assisting the Director of Conferences and Marketing in formulating policies and procedures for marketing and research.
Ensuring Conference Services and facilities are marketed effectively so as to retain and expand the Centre's market share;
Identifying of markets and marketing segmentation
•      Responsible for formulation and implementation of marketing strategies
Preparation of short and long term marketing programmes
Liaises with Government , Ministries, professional associations, NGO's and other conference organisers with the aim of identifying and soliciting forthcoming meetings and conferences which could be held at the Centre;
Conducting conferences business negotiations
Prepares periodic and timely performances reports
Prepare a monthly schedule of external meetings and conferences
