Eight hours ahead of kick-off, Manchester United directors Sir Alex Ferguson, David Gill and Sir Bobby Charlton arrived at Old Trafford for their mammoth Champions League tie with Olympiacos.
With pressure mounting on manager David Moyes and his future set to be determined over the course of the next week, fans will speculate as to why the hierarchy were gathering so early.
Former boss Ferguson and ex-chief executive Gill are now on the board at the club and they arrived together at the ground at around 11.45am.

United are trailing 2-0 going into their second-leg, last-16 showdown and, following Sunday's 3-0 defeat by Liverpool, they know that winning this season's Champions League is their most realistic avenue of qualifying for next year's competition.
Were they to be eliminated then the scrutiny on Moyes would intensify heading into this weekend's Premier League match at West Ham and Tuesday's Manchester derby back at Old Trafford.
Moyes has called on his squad to 'stick together' as they come under fire from all sides after the dismal defeat against Liverpool.
In his match-day programme notes, Moyes said: 'This has been a difficult season and Sunday's result has not made life easy for any of us.
'Nobody at this club is under any illusions about what is required now. We must all stick together.
'We know we have to produce a very good performance. That is the bare minimum and from there we will try to score the goals we need.
